Content Marketing Services
What It Is. What We Do. What You Can Expect.
Content is king!
You’ve probably heard this said for years now and it still very much rings true.
Your content is what communicates to your audience – and to search engines – who you are, what you do, and why someone should do business with you.
Our content marketing creates highly engaging content that can be used to help educate your current customers, convert potential customers, or even help you rank on Google for specific keywords for future customers.
While content marketing is a long-term strategy that can take time to start showing results, the results you’re going to get are going to be sustained and evergreen… meaning, a piece of content that we create now could have a profound impact on your business for years to come.
Good content can also help with the authority of your domain which will translate into better search engine rankings over time and, in turn, more potential customers to your website.
That’s why content marketing is considered a critical component of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for businesses that want to improve organic reach.
And yes, the page that you’re viewing this video on right now is a form of content marketing.
Pretty cool, right?
Our content strategy involves publishing high-quality content about your products and services on your website on a monthly basis. Creating this content on a regular schedule is meaningful for 3 big reasons.
- First, it helps search engines like Google understand what you’re an expert in. Whether you’re a pest control company on the west coast, or an IT company on the east coast — publishing high quality content frequently in your area of expertise will help search engines understand that you’re an authority on particular topics and therefore are more likely to recommend your website in search results for people searching for your products and services.
- Secondly, it builds trust with current and potential customers. With so much competition out there, content helps customers learn about what makes you different and what you do better than your competitors. It helps tell your story.
- Third, publishing new content helps search engines recognize that you’re relevant. New content has the opportunity to outrank old and stale content that has been around for a long time. It’s a way to tell search engines that you’re in the game.
- And lastly, content is a competitive advantage. Many businesses lack the time and resources to create good content. Investing in content will separate you from the rest.
No matter your industry or size of business, our content marketing strategies have increased the amount of people who have seen our clients’ websites across the board. The formula is simple — The more great content you publish, the more people will see your content, and the more potential customers you will have.
Great! So you now know how important content marketing is for your business, but how are you going to make time to create all that content? That’s where Lemonade Stand’s content marketing team can help.
Our US-based writers will create high-quality content that will provide results at a fraction of the cost of doing it yourself or hiring in-house staff. You’ll even have a dedicated content strategist that analyzes your competitors, keywords, and search impact to create a quarterly content plan optimized for the biggest impact.
Let’s go over our monthly process for creating content for you. We call it, “writing with a purpose.”
- First, our Content Strategists will work to understand your business and where you’re at in your content journey. They will also conduct keyword research and competitive analysis. They will then email you a quarterly content plan with a list of blogs or pages that we will create over the next 1 to 3 months (depending on when you start within the quarter). You’ll be able to provide feedback before we get to work.
- Once you approve your plan, our team of writers will go to work and email you your content typically around the 2nd-3rd week of every month. Once you have the content, you’ll be able to submit any edits or suggestions to our team.
- Once your content is approved by you, our team will publish it on your site and perform Search Engine Optimization (SEO) on the content.
One important thing to remember when reviewing your content is, we write for your target audience’s level of understanding. While you may be tempted to have us write highly technical articles, in most cases, simple language will perform best. That doesn’t mean we can’t get technical, however. If the target audience calls for it or if you strongly want us to, we’ll do it.
So how do we track the results of this content marketing strategy? There are some key metrics that will tell you how well your content marketing strategy is performing.
Over time, a content strategy that is working will yield positive increases in the following metrics:
- Search Impressions: This is the amount of times people saw your content in search results.
- Clicks: This is the amount of times people clicked on your content in search results.
- Domain Authority: Based on a scale of 1-100, this metric reveals how authoritative search engines see your site. Higher domain authority sites typically rank higher in search results.
- Keyword Rankings: We’ll track the most relevant keywords for your business. These are the keywords that your customers are most likely to use when searching for your products and services. Higher rankings generally mean more impressions and clicks.
- Leads or Sales: While this is impossible to guarantee, more potential customers who are engaging with your content will increase the likelihood of you receiving more sales. This metric can take longer to increase since it is dependent on the increase of all the others first.
These metrics, as well as a log of all the content we’ve created for you, will all be tracked in your Lemonade Stand Measure Dashboard for you to view at any time. If you’ve been assigned an Account Manager to your account, they will be keeping track of these metrics for you and will present them to you in your monthly meetings, or whatever reporting schedule works best for you. We advise clients to give this strategy time to play out since this is a long-term strategy. If you’re looking to get immediate visibility on search engines, consider our Paid Search Marketing services.
